SCIN PET-CT

Overview

The PET-CT service is delivered in Scotland by four sites: Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Dundee, and Glasgow. The NHS infrastructure consists of five scanners nationwide and two production facilities in Aberdeen and Glasgow. The service is available to all NHS Scottish boards. The core service provides FDG, PSMA, and DOTA imaging services with some novel tracers in development. The service is overseen by the SCIN PET-CT steering group, with representatives from each site and NSS and is contactable via SCIN (nss.scin@nhs.scot).

PET-CT Waiting and Reporting Times

SCIN has published the Waiting and Reporting times for each of the boards from January 2019. The results are updated quarterly and can be found on this page.
